5 Simple Steps To Check Pre-selection Status on N-Power Portal

Simply follow the guides below:


1. Log on to or CLICK HERE

2. Click on check Pre selection status

3. In the search box, In put your BVN, Name, Email or Phone Number

4. If you have been selected, your name will pop up definitely on the screen (You get notified immediately)

5. You will then receive a message congratulating you.

We will advice you here on to use either a laptop or use good browsers such as Chrome, Ucweb etc for easy surfing. I will advice you to avoid using opera mini to check it because you might experience some difficulty while accessing the portal. If you try opera mini and it works perfectly for you, that's fine.


You can now check your npower pre-selection list with this new link.

After all these, you will have to prepare for a physical verification which holds between November 27th - December 8th, 2017.


The information was contained in a statement on its official Twitter handle, N- @npower_ng

“Good morning, You will recall that we shared that 2017 applicants can check their pre-selection status today from 11.30pm.

“Below is how to check your pre-selection status. Please follow instructions carefully”, the tweet read with an image containing the details.

N-Power had last Thursday confirmed date to announce candidates selected for physical verification.

Meanwhile, the presidency has confirmed that a total of 176,160 graduate beneficiaries had been deployed under the N-Power.

This is contained in a book titled: ‘Making Steady, Sustainable Progress for Nigeria’s Peace and Prosperity: A Mid-Term Report Card on the Buhari Administration’ co-authored by the Presidential Media Team.

The book stated that N-Power programme, has reached 200,000 graduate beneficiaries from all 36 states including the FCT.

It noted that out of the 25,840 selected applicants left, 11,884 beneficiaries were disqualified after physical verification or had incomplete records, adding that the remaining 13,956 beneficiaries were absent from physical verification.

It said in other to ensure gender balance, 46 per cent of the total 200,000 beneficiaries selected were female while 1, 126 applicants with disabilities were also picked.

Government further disclosed that a centralized Project Management Unit was currently being set up to carry out monitoring and evaluation of the programme across the country.

“In addition to this, a MoU has been reached with the National Orientation Agency to also carry out monitoring and evaluation in all 36 states including the FCT,” the book said.

N-Power Recruitment List For Successful Candidates 2017/2018

There is a new list of N-Power successful candidates for  the 2017 recruitment exercise which has officially been released and recruited candidates can now verify their names on the N-Power Portal.

The list includes 300,000 candidates who have been pre-selected for the physical verification stage. Applicants and the General Public must  note that pre-selection does not equate Final selection.
The N-Power programme commenced in 2016. The first 200,000 N-Power beneficiaries were selected from 350,000 Graduate applications.

In 2017, the N-Power portal opened up for Graduate applications on the 13th of June. Applications received were 403% more than the Graduate applications received in 2016. As at the time, the application process closed in July 27th, 2017, 2,543,079 people had applied for the N-Power Graduate Programmes.
