Refund of Post-UTME Fees 2017/18 & Cancellation Of Post-UTME Screening are False

This is to notify the General Public and all students that the Minister of Education never called for the refund of Pos-UTME Fees and Cancellation of recent conducted UTME Exams/Aptitude Test.

The Minister only directed the refund for candidates who were charged above the Post-UTME stipulated fee of N2000.

It was noted that many Institutions such as Delta State University, University of Benin and others still went on to charge students no less than 5,000 Naira for admission screening fees. This is abnormal and actually defies the order of the Federal Government of Nigeria and at such all institutions involved should refund candidates.

Any candidate that has paid over N2000 for their Post UTME should avail JAMB with the information and evidence of payment, every information given to the Board by candidates would be treated with strict confidence.

The Board is looking into these cases and intends to take them up with the institutions. Evidence of such payment would be treated with strict confidence by the Board. However, you may blur your personal details if you need and email to 

Moreover on the case of the Cancellation of Post-UTME exams which is making rounds on the internet that was a misleading and false information as the Nigerian Senate only called for the The Need to Revisit the Regulatory Conflict between Joint Admission and Matriculation Board and Universities in Offering Admission in Nigeria.

The General Public and students are hereby warned to be-careful on the kind of news being circulated on social medias as most of them are spread by mischievous set of people.
